Be Wary of Scammers
- Never send money or disclose banking details to anyone on the app.
- Report users who pressure you for financial assistance or ask for personal information.
Verify Before You Meet
- Take time to chat and get to know the person before agreeing to a meetup.
- Where possible, confirm their identity through trusted sources such as verification badges on Bfriendz or social network links.
Use Bfriendz's Communication Tools
- Keep conversations within the app to protect your privacy.
- Be cautious of users who insist on moving the conversation to another platform too quickly.
Meeting in Person

- Always meet in a well-lit, busy public place such as a café, restaurant, or park.
- Avoid private locations like homes or hotel rooms for first meetings.

Block Users if Necessary
- If someone makes you uncomfortable, you can block them to prevent further contact.
- Blocking a user removes them from your matches and prevents further messages.
Additional Safety Measures
- Avoid Drugs & Alcohol: Stay alert and in control during meetups by avoiding excessive drinking or accepting unknown substances.
- Be Aware of Red Flags: Watch for signs of manipulation, dishonesty, or aggressive behavior.
- Protect Your Belongings: Keep an eye on your valuables and don't leave personal items unattended.
- 18+ Only: Bfriendz is strictly for users 18 years and older. Report any profiles you believe belong to underage users immediately through the in-app reporting feature.
- Verified Profiles: Whenever possible, connect with verified users for added peace of mind.
- No Transactional Dating: Never offer or accept money, gifts, or services in exchange for companionship. This is prohibited and a common red flag for scams.
- Respect Others: Treat people with kindness. Harassment, hate speech, and discrimination are not tolerated.
- In Case of Emergency: If you feel unsafe during a meetup, leave immediately and contact local authorities (dial 112 in Europe or 911 in the U.S.).
